日食観察に際して、未撮影で現像済のX線フィルム（フィルム全体が黒くなったもの）であっても、銀の含有量が少なく赤外線が網膜に届くかもしれません。日食観察に使用しないで下さい。

昨日からアクセス集中しダウンロードできない下記NASAサイトですが、コピーに成功し、通読しました。

Unsafe filters include color film, some non-silver black and
white film, medical x-ray films with images on them, smoked glass,
photographic neutral density filters and polarizing filters.

Some of the newer black and white films use dyes instead of
silver and these are unsafe. Black-and-white negatives with
images on it (e.g., medical x-rays) are also not suitable.

フィルム感光乳剤として銀が使われていないもの、実際に撮影済みの医療用X線フィルムなどは日食観察に使用できません。
一見、未撮影で現像（定着）済のX線フィルムは可能なようですが、ネットで調べると、「レントゲンフイルムでは最高濃度が足りない」ので、使用してはいけないとの意見がありました。
