DCR – CCHF – EHF
アフリカ中部の Democratic Republic of the Congo (コンゴ民主共和国 DRC Congo DR 首都 キンシャサ Kinshasa 旧国名 ザイール Zaire)、DRC北西に位置し国境を接する Republic of the Congo (コンゴ共和国 首都 ブラザヴィル Brazzaville) は15世紀頃まではコンゴ王国で1つ。
クリミア・コンゴ出血熱 Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF 1944,1956)、エボラ出血熱 Ebola hemorrhagic fever (EHF 1976)の原因ウイルス発見地はどちらも DRC です。

[EHF virus] in the city of Kaluamba located in the health area of Mweka, Kasai Occidental (DRC)
In the DRC, Ebola hemorrhagic fever was previously notified in the provinces of Ecuador (in Yambuku in 1976 and Tandala in 1977), Bandundu (Kikwit in 1995), in Eastern province (in Durba in 1999 and 2000) and Kasai Occidental (Mweka in 2007).
